SEN ADVOCACY & EHCP SUPPORT
You shouldn't have to fight this hard for your child.
Calm, clear SEN support for overwhelmed parents - from your first question right through to tribunal if it comes to that.
Does any of this sound familiar?
If you have ever stayed up until midnight googling EHCPs, sat in a meeting nodding while having no idea what was being agreed, or felt like you were screaming into a void while professionals smiled and did nothing - this is for you.
Stuck trying to get support in school
Dismissed by professionals who won't listen
Drowning in jargon and confusing letters
Unsure whether an EHCP is even the right step
Exhausted from fighting the same battles alone
Scared of getting something important wrong
You're not alone
You are not failing. The system is failing you. That stops here.

A SEN Parent's Starter Guide to the SEND System
A starter guide to understanding the SEND process and your next steps, in easy to follow form, by a SEN mum who has been through it all and collected SEN Law qualifications on the way.
About Kate...
I am Kate, SEN mum, founder of SEND Defender, and Level 3 qualified in SEN Law. I did not come to this work through a textbook. I came to it because my own children needed someone to fight for them, and the system gave us nothing.

I have sat in the meetings, read the letters, been through the EHCP process, and come out the other side with the knowledge and the determination to help other families do the same.
From one SEN parent to another, you are safe here. Love, Kate x
