HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?

This is a short, self study course, you can go as fast or as slow as you need! If you prefer to take it slow, each module is around 5-8 minutes. If you're ready to binge watch and take action, you can complete it in under an hour and get implementing what you learn right away.

HOW MUCH DOES THE COURSE COST?

This short course is valued at £57, but for a limited time is available for just £27!

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This masterclass is for you if:

  • You've been told to "wait and see" one too many times and you're not sure how much longer you can keep waiting.

  • Your child has a SEN NEED or you suspect they might and you don't fully understand what the school is legally required to provide.

  • You've heard terms like EHCP, OAP, IEP and SEMH and you're not entirely sure what they all mean or how they relate to your child.

  • You've had meetings with school and come away feeling more confused, more dismissed, or more frustrated than when you walked in.

  • You want to understand the system well enough to advocate confidently without needing a law degree to do it.

WHO IS THIS COURSE NOT FOR?

This isn't for parents who are already deep into EHCP'S, tribunal proceedings or need specific advice about their child's case. If that's where you are, a 1:1 session with me is likely a better fit. Please contact me through the website.

HOW WILL I ACCESS THE COURSE?

You'll be sent a link to create a log in for the platform, save those details as it's all stored there for you to refer back to as often as you need!

TELL ME ABOUT KATE?

Hi, I'm Kate. I'm a SEN mum, founder of SEND Defender, and trained in SEN law.

I have three children, two who are autistic and ADHD with other disabilites. They experienced significant school avoidance and are now thriving in alternative provision because I learned how to navigate a system that wasn't making it easy.

I've sat in the meetings. I've written the letters. I've challenged the decisions. And I've helped other families do the same.

I built SEND Defender because no parent should have to figure all of this out alone, and no child should miss out on the support they're legally entitled to because their family didn't know they could ask for it.

This masterclass is everything I wish someone had told me at the beginning.
